In China, manners are important, and this step-by-step video teaches you some of the basics you need to be polite while speaking Chinese. In this video, you will learn to introduce yourself in Chinese.

Come to the SALC and practice your greetings and introductions in a Conversation Session. Use Conversation Card S-1.

NOTE: YanMin is available in the SALC in the following schedule: Monday 4 to 7pm.  Tuesday 4 to 5:30 and 7 to 8:30. Thursday 4 to 5:30pm.

Remember that the conversation corner requires to make reservations in advance. You can go by yourself (alone) or with as many as 3 classmates or friends.

You don’t need to do all of them. Check them out at the SAC and select the one you prefer.
