<-- Process Page <-- LinguistYou will research about Shakespearean language, insults and quotes. Prepare a page of instructions/advice, in your own words, explaining Shakespearean language. You will also use your research to reword a passage of several lines; one from each act, that explains the language and summarizes what has happened, and why it is significant to the plot. Acting CoachYou will research about Elizabethan era acting techniques, describe the actors during Shakespeare's time and the conditions they had to endure. This should be explained in one page of the guide, using your own words. You will use this to direct group members in five tableaux (of each act), paying attention to blocking and stage presence, while providing notes for blocking and positioning. Set DesignerYou will research about the Globe theater, with respect to the actors and audience. Your research should help you write a page of the guide, explaining stage one set designs of the era. You will design the backdrop and bring in the props necessary for five scenes (one from each act) including lighting. Set suggestions. Costume DesignerYou will research about Elizabethan era costumes and clothing. You will explain and make costume recommendations for the guide, using your own words. You will co-ordinate, design or collect costumes for each of the five scenes. Producer (team of 5 members)You will be in charge of the Guide design.
