The Development Committee

The ATS Development Committee, composed of dedicated parents and staff, collaborates to orchestrate special events throughout the academic year.

Originally founded in 1993 as the Special Events Committee, it has steadfastly contributed to the ATS community's vibrancy. The committee proudly organizes hallmark events including Garage Sale, Valentine's Day, Grandparent's Day, all of which underscore and support the dynamic activities and objectives of ATS.

The Development Committee at The American School of Tampico (ATS) is dedicated to enhancing the educational experience of our students by organizing special events that foster community spirit among parents, grandparents, and alumni. Through close collaboration between parents, staff, and volunteers, we aim to create engagement opportunities that generate funds for improving the school’s programs and facilities, ensuring ATS remains a leader in educational excellence.

Halloween Munch & Monsters Sale

Halloween Snack & Scare Sale was a spook-tacular success! Thanks to the invitation from PTA, our Development Committee served up delicious tacos, drinks, coffee, pastries, and empanadas generously donated by our school community. Every treat sold brings us one step closer to our campus development goals. Huge thanks to everyone who supported!

ATS Padel Tournament Collab

We are incredibly grateful to the PTA for inviting us to be part of the ATS Padel Tournament and allowing the Development Committee to collaborate in this amazing event. Thanks to the generosity of our ATS families who donated ingredients and supplies, we were able to set up our food stand, which helped us raise a significant amount of funds to support our initiatives.

This event was a true reflection of our community spirit—working together, supporting each other, and making a difference. Thank you to everyone who contributed, whether through donations, time, or effort. Your support makes everything possible! 💙✨

Cupid's Market

Cupid's Market aims to celebrate Valentine's Day by offering a variety of festive products and activities, with the primary goal of raising funds for the Scholarship Fund and the Handicap Campus Initiative.

Cupid's Market is a vibrant Valentine's Day themed sale held under the library, creating a festive and inclusive atmosphere for students to explore and purchase a wide array of items. The market features products such as cupcakes, scrunchies, stickers, a photobooth, and more, catering to a diverse student interest.

Cupid's Market presents an excellent opportunity for the school community to come together in celebration of Valentine's Day, fostering school spirit while supporting crucial school initiatives. We look forward to your approval and support in making this event a success.

The Development Committee plays a vital role during Grandparents Day by hosting the event and offering a variety of refreshments, beverages, and merchandise for sale. These items are available to parents, grandparents, and children attending the celebration. The proceeds generated contribute directly to supporting the committee's initiatives, while also ensuring that our grandparents feel warmly welcomed and celebrated on this special day.
